| Feeding guild: | Miner in petiole and leaf blade |
| Taxonomy: | Diptera: Drosophilidae: Scaptomyza sp. |
| Stages observed: | trace |
| Distribution observed: | IA |
| Hosts in Cardamine: | C. bulbosa (spring cress) |
I noted a blotchy whitish mine in a stem leaf in late May; it covered part of the leaf blade and entered the petiole as well. The larva was no longer present, but the damage appeared similar to that of drosophilid larvae I observed in other brassicaceous hosts during the survey, and it keys to Scaptomyza sp. in Eiseman (2022).
