I observed active Ophiomyia stem mines in Teucrium in mid-June, with puparia formed in the mines by early July. I also located and photographed completed mines in October and black puparia overwintering on dead stems in January. One of the January puparia was positioned in the uppermost part of the stem, within ~70mm of the very top, just below the infructescence.
